This is what we needed to do before we started editing. This is a software that we used to convert our footage to Final cut Pro. We did have a few problems with this on this day which could have slowed us down but now that we got the hag of it, converting our footage after recording was easier and saved us a lot more time. Not a lot of editing was done due to the lack of shots with the actors and due to the half term break in which we wasn't allowed to bring the camera off college grounds.

Official Filming Day 2
After changing our actor we officially started recording with our new actor in the TV studio. We also went south to collect footage in south for location based elements in the music video.
New Actor
Due to the fact that our original actor let us down last week, me and my group decided to look for new actors to be our main actor for our music video. This time we decided to look for people in our college and work with their college timetable for availability with rooms and using them as our actor. We recruited 2 new actors, one being a boy that we used in our practice task and another being someone who is part of our college performing arts group. This would make our actors more reliable as we are all in the same building majority of the time and we can chase them up on things when needed, This also allowed more discussion to take place face to face rather than over social media.
Messing Around With Effects'
During Lesson Me And Kedeidra Was Playing Around With Effects Which Can Be Used In Our Actual Music Video.
Filming Day 2.
Filming in the Tv Studio today didn't seem very productive as our actor decided to go to some optional college meeting. He didnt contact us telling us that he had a meeting until i asked him if he still coming today which let us down as i kept asking him throughout the week and he said he could make it. This means that we are behind on our work and may have to find a new actor for our music video due to our disappointment. He also told us that he would come after his meet which was due to finish around 2:30 since then he has not replied back to any of my messages and have me and my group waiting without any indication of him making his way or not. On the other hand this allowed us to see what type of person he is as he is showing that he is not reliable due to the fact that he didnt show up and only told us last minute after waiting for so long.
Room booking error
Due to the error of our technician on the booking for the time agreed on, 12:50-3 and our actor not showing up on time. We had to rearrange our times so that the group that was booked in at 1:30 can have their hour in the tv studio. This allowed is to have more time in contacting our actor and making his travel to leyton more realistic and achievable for is to record at our new time slot at 2pm.

Editing: Day 1.
These were our general reactions after watching the parts we edited today, The second video shows what we done that lesson as it was how we wanted it to look when setting the scene for our music video. Similar shots would be used to repeat the start of scene 1 based on locations of Hackney.

Footage Review.
Me and my group reviewed our footage based on the locations on Final Cut Pro. This is the software that we would be using to edit our videos and scenes together, making our whole music video. This would also allow us to add special effect, and play around with the pace of the shots within the video. This could also be used to change our footage into black and white where needed. When we went to review our footage we noticed that our videos needed to be converted so that the quality of the videos would become smooth on Final Cut Pro as it was stalling/jumping when we was reviewing our footage for the first time. This delayed our start to editing the location clips which means we would need to start editing during our next lesson.
Filming: Day 1.
My Group, Decided beforehand
that on the first day of filming we will shoot the scenes where none of the
actors are needed so that by the time it came to shooting the scenes
with the actors we will be more experienced in using the
DSLR camera. We went to various locations in Hackney such as: Dalston,
Hackney Town Hall, and Hackney Central. As it got dark quick we had
to adjust the camera settings, shutter speed, to allow the camera to let more
light in so that the footage was clearer. Generally our aim for that day was to
tick off the scenes which focused on the locations in which we
achieved.
Copyright Clearance
This is the conversation that I had with the Artist - SNE asking if i could use one of his songs for my media coursework. He was an ex student in my college so he understood the need of the song and the purpose that i was not using if for commercial use. SNE Allowed me to use his track for my coursework.

Shoulder Mount
This is the Technician showing us how to use the Shoulder mount. This would allow us to panning camera movements and allow us to have an handheld effect. This would be useful for certain scenes that require shots of locations as we would not need the tripod at this stage and it would reduce the hazard in busy places.

DSLR Introduction
This Video was an introduction on the DSLR camera, the technician showed us how to change the level of light that comes in the shot, he also told us how to change the shutter levels and the recommended amounts depending on how you want your shot. The technician also told us about the pulling focus which would allow us to make the background blurry whilst the foreground is focused or make the foreground blurry and the background focused. This would help us in our video as it can portray the thoughts and feelings and allow us to focus on certain parts. this could also help us portray the struggle or the start of something new.
This Video was showing us how to change the DSLR camera from colour to Black And White. This was useful for us as it allowed us to shoot our music video in black and white which could show the struggle, thoughts and emotions for the actor when recording. He also showed us how to change the camera setting back from black and white to colour but this is not shown in the video.
Booking Forms
The First photo shows how we booked the DSLR Camera, Tripod and shoulder mount. These are the equipment that we are going to use when recording our music video. The reason why we have to book the equipment is so that they can monitor us as students with them and allow other students to use the equipment when we do not need it. This would help organise our time effectively due to the fact that equipment is limited.
The second photo is permission from the teacher to allow our actor to come into the college building to recorde in the TV studio. This is essentially us taking on responsibility and authority when bringing actors into our college. This form would be handed to the security on the day we need our actor to come in.

Release Forms
There are two types of release forms which needs to be filled out before we start doing our music video. This is giving us permission to use certain locations and using the actors needed for the music video. Location release forms would be filled out by the person in charge of that location e.g. TV studio we asked our media teacher to sign the form & for the talent release form we would ask our actors to fill it out if they are the age of 16+, if below 16 we would ask their parents to fill it out. once these forms are complete we can shoot our video in locations that we wanted and use the actors that we initially contacted.
Female Initial Costume Ideas
When doing our storyboards for the music video, me and my group noticed that we needed a main female to be used in certain scenes. This essentially means that we need to find a female who can play this role in order for our music video to work. we have some ideas on a female that can be used so we created some costume ideas demonstrating how we would want our female to look in the music video.
